You may have seen commercials for companies that provide DNA tests and health reports to the general public, often piggybacking on consumer interest in genealogy and ancestry. We appreciate that their marketing efforts have brought the concept of genomics and health into the public eye. However, direct-to-consumer tests and reports are not medically comprehensive. In other words, they don’t tell the whole story.

IntellxxDNA™ provides in-depth, evidence-based, science-focused genomic intelligence. When your test results are ready, we will meet to discuss the risks and benefits within your genomic profile and review potential prevention or intervention strategies to help you achieve optimal health and wellness. The entire process supports an informed interpretation of test results and an understanding of next steps.

IntellxxDNA™ reports provide unprecedented insight into your unique genetic make-up to assist us in developing true, personalized care. How?

Your DNA contains variants, or SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms), that may signal potential benefits as well as risks. We examine the complex interplay between these variants and how they can affect your quality of life. Our discussion, and your report, will include evidence-based, well-researched potential intervention strategies – encompassing environment, lifestyle, nutrition, supplements and medications.

Your DNA is not your destiny. In fact, understanding your genomic profile empowers you to make intelligent health and wellness choices now that may impact your future quality of life. We will review your genomic profile as one of several factors of consideration when making clinical decisions to help you achieve optimal health.

Results are typically available within 2-3 weeks of test kit submission. Once your results are finalized, we will reach out to you to assist in scheduling your results consultation.

The field of medical genomics is complex, even for well-trained clinicians. IntellxxDNA™ provides clinicians with ongoing education to ensure that they have access to the latest, evidence-based, genomic interpretations available. Requiring IntellxxDNA providers to be licensed medical professionals legally allows them to include much more advanced medical information in their reports.

Your medical genomic make-up is foundational information to be understood within the context of your entire health and wellness profile. We will use information learned through genomic intelligence to support clinical decisions that are personalized to your unique health care needs and goals.

IntellxxDNA™ reports are not covered by insurance.

1. A deposit of $500 is due at the time of scheduling your initial consultation.

2. Your 2nd payment will equal the total cost of your selected panel or combination package minus your deposit and final payment.

3. The final payment of $500 will be invoiced at the time of scheduling your results consultation.

Each FSA and/or HSA company has different reimbursement qualification parameters. No guarantees can be made, however, it is our experience that clinician-delivered DNA testing and consultation services are typically approved. We recommend verifying with your individual FSA/HSA provider prior to engaging our services as we will be unable to provide a refund should any tests or services prove non-reimbursable. Copies of your paid invoices can be submitted as receipts to your FSA/HSA company.
